This was a family gathering of East Coast and West Coast that don't get to see each other very often. The house was very roomy and comfortable with room to spread out. There was a wide variety of pots and pans and utensils. We only had to purchase the actual food we wanted to prepare. The kitchen was large and also well stocked with seasonings, sugar, flour, etc. The house was well stocked with all the basic necessities and some extras-beach towels, for example. We had plenty of room and something for everyone. We were a family of 12-6 adults and 6 children. Thank you Michele for sharing Camp Run A Muk with our family and thanks for everything! This is a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or just to hang out with friends or family. What a great first impression! We also were celebrating the 60th wedding anniversary of our parents and this trip will be a memorable one for all of us. We were there to get together as a family and this was the first mountain experience for some family members. Michele was great in communicating with us throughout the reservation process. The kitchen has everything! If you didn't bring it.they have it! They have provided a ping pong table, pool table, fooseball table, hot tub, board games, televisions in most rooms and Wi-Fi for you to enjoy! If that doesn't thrill you, how about sitting outside on the beautiful deck and enjoying conversations while smelling the pine trees! The cabin is in a great location not far from town or the lake and there are also a few parks nearby to enjoy. There is plenty of room for a large family like ours and there was plenty for people to do in the cabin.
From the moment you arrive, you feel like you are home. When we found Camp Run A Muk, we realized this was the perfect place for our family and it has everything you could need. Every two years, we try to have a family get together.
